Sizing

Find their size.

Bandit dog bandanas come in three sizes — S, M and L — by neck measurement. Measure snug at the base of the neck, add two fingers, and pick the size whose range covers the number. Takes a minute; the chart and a breed lookup are below.

How to measure

Three steps, one number.

  1. 01

Wrap a soft tape around the base of the neck

Where a collar sits, snug but not tight. No tape? Use a string and lay it against a ruler.

  2. 02

    Add two fingers

Slide two fingers under the tape and read the number. That's the measurement — the room they need to swallow, pant and be a dog.

  3. 03

    Match it to the chart

Pick the size whose neck range covers the number. Right on a boundary? Go up. Longer tails tie fine; a short one won't.

Questions

Sizing questions.

How do I measure my dog for a bandana?
Wrap a soft tape around the base of the neck where a collar sits, snug but not tight, then add two fingers of room. Match that number to the chart: S fits 8–14" necks, M fits 14–19", L fits 19–25".
What if my dog is between sizes?
Go up. A bigger bandana just means longer tails on the knot; a small one won't tie. And if it's still wrong, sizing exchanges are no-questions within 30 days.
How big is each bandana?
They're squares — S is 17.3″, M is 21.3″, L is 25.2″ — folded on the diagonal into a triangle and tied at the back of the neck.
How do you tie it?
Fold the square on the diagonal, drape the point down the chest and tie the two ends at the back of the neck with two fingers of room. Over or under the collar, whichever they prefer.
Which size for a puppy?
Measure today's neck and buy for today; a bandana is tied, so there's some give, but a puppy can outgrow a size in a few months. Exchanges are no-questions if they grow into the next one fast.
Can I exchange for a different size?
Yes. Wrong size, no questions — reply to your order email within 30 days and we'll swap it.
